Below are our terms and condition which you are agreeing when booking a tour with Amigo Tours Vallarta. We have made these terms for your benefits, if you have any query about these terms, please feel free to contact us.
1. YOUR E-MAIL ELECTRONIC TICKETS AND THE ADMISSION PROCESS
You've started the process of a fun-packed vacation and have made your reservations, and paid for your tours, now we will send you an electronic ticket to your e-mail address, along with all the important details such as contact information and meeting instructions. Print out your tickets and don't forget to pack them just like an airplane ticket, these are your admission to your tours. When you arrive to the tour operator and day of the tour, present them and you will be checked in.
2. LOCATIONS & MEETING TIMES
The times and locations shown on your ticket are the ones you need to abide by, anything shown on the rest of the website are subject to change without notice, and only the time and location shown on your ticket is the one you need to follow. Therefore, if you do not arrive to the correct meeting destination at the time shown on your e-ticket, no refunds will be given, regardless if a different time or location is shown on our website. Please be 100% sure that you have your ticket with you and that you follow the instructions shown on it, that will avoid any problems and just have fun!
3. NO PORT, NO PAY POLICY (CRUISE PASSENGERS ONLY)
We will happily give you a 100% refund of your money if for any unforeseen circumstances including weather conditions, mechanical failure, etc prevents your cruise ship from being able to make port as scheduled.
There are 2 convenient options in the case that there is an itinerary change in advance to your sailing and you still have the opportunity to reschedule. They are as follows:
1) We will give you a voucher that you can use to reschedule your tour with us free of charge, valid for 1 year.
2) We will issue you a full refund of your tour cost, less 5% to cover the fees the bank charges for the processing fees.
If you're still going to sail, but the itinerary change ports you on a different date than originally scheduled, please make your best efforts to call us or email us right away to make the necessary accommodations to reschedule your tours so that you don't miss out. We need as much notice as possible to be able to provide this service for you, so in these situations please make all attempts to contact us.
Now you can have peace of mind knowing that are no risks in booking with us! You will not lose your money if you ship's destined port is cancelled. Exception: Fishing Charters, Dolphins, Las Caletas and Rhythms of the Night are subject to our regular cancellation policy (please see below).
4. CHANGES IN TOUR DATES
To be as safe as possible, have all plans set in stone ahead of time if possible. Tours do not have infinite capacity, so availability on many tours is limited, if you change your schedule close to the tour date, some tours may already be sold out for the dates you want to switch to. While we do our very best to accommodate you with any changes, free of cost, as part of our service, there can be exceptions. In the cases that are repetitive changes to a single reservation we may require a small 5% processing fee and we do not make changes with 72 hours. The best bet is to have everything in place before reserving!
5. AMIGO CANCELLATION POLICY
We are your "amigos" here and understand that sometimes, something might come up that will require you to cancel your reservations. If you need to cancel your tour, just call us and we will happily issue you a refund for your tour up until 72 hours before the tour date. The fee to take care of this change would be a 5% processing fee to cover the credit card charges that we incur. If you need to cancel within 72 hours of the tour, we do appreciate the call, but all reservations are non-refundable, as we are unable to get our money back from the tour operator either. No Refunds within 72 Hours of Tour.
However, the exceptions are if the tour is cancelled by the tour operator for weather or any other reason (see #10 below), or if you are a cruise passenger, and your ship doesn't make port as scheduled (see #3 above), you will receive a 100% refund for your tour.
Under certain circumstances, we might be able to switch you to a different day or offer another solution, even within 72 hours, if you're not going to be able to make it, call us. Although we can't guarantee anything, we can guarantee that we'll try to figure out what the best second option would be. For the type of trips take a lot of work on our part to set up for you, are set up far in advance, and are difficult to re-book on short notice, such as fishing trips, private boat charters, and large groups, we do have to apply stricter conditions for cancellations. See details below:
Private Boat Charters 37 feet and under (including fishing trips): We can make changes within 7 days of the trip date, but are subject to a $50.00 processing fee. We do not refund cancellations within 7 days of the trip. However, we're more than happy to help you with your cancellation or assist you in changing your dates up until 7 days before the trip with only a small 5% processing fee for changes or a $50.00 processing fee for cancellations to help cover the credit card fees and other costs we aquire to process these requests.
Large Groups, Specialized Tours, and Yachts: No refunds will be issued within 30 days of your trip. Changes within 14 days and cancellations prior to 30 days before the tour date will be processed with a 5% processing fee.
Airport Transfers: In order to get your request on time we need all reservations to be made prior to 5:00 PM Central Time the day before the service is requested. If a reservation is made after this time, we won't be able to have the time in order to confirm your service, and will have to cancel your reservation and refund 95% based on our usual cancellation policy.
6. NO-SHOW POLICY
No issues will be refunded for a no-show under any circumstances, with the exception provided under our no-port, no-pay policy for cruise ship passengers in #3 (shown above.)
7. LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
We will not be able to issue refunds if you show up late and your tour leaves without you. All of amigo's tours run on Puerto Vallarta local time (Central Time). This is usually not the same time used by cruise ships - please be completely aware of this and confirm with your ship what time zone they are listing their arrival and departure times in. We are not able to offer a refund for tours missed due to time differences, so be positive you know what time you're on.
8. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION POLICY
Amigo Tours Vallarta strives to provide you with the best service in booking your tours and at the lowest prices. Since we do not run the tours ourselves, any disputes over the quality or corresponding issues such as videos, photos, t-shirts, so on, must be dealt with directly to the tour provider. We can not be held responsible for a service that we do not ourselves provide, thank you for your understanding.
Your privacy and security is valued by us. All transactions are processed without a human ever seeing any credit card or bank account information, and are processed with the highest quality of encryption available. If we do not get your express permission, we will absolutely never share your e-mail address to anyone, nor will we ever sell it. You are dealing with a professional business that values our customer’s protection.
10. BAD WEATHER POLICY
Almost all the tours in Puerto Vallarta operate rain or shine. This is the tropics – to stay so green and beautiful it rains a lot. If we had to cancel tours every time there was rain, the reality is the tour operators would all be out of business. Plus, most tours are just as fun in the rain, such as the off-road tours! If on the day of your tour it rains and the tour operator is the one who cancels the tour, you are fully entitled to a 100% refund. If the tour still runs, rain or shine, then our cancellation policy remains as shown above.
11. TOUR OPERATOR POLICIES
These terms & conditions apply to the tour operators themselves, as well as any other waivers or vouchers they may have you sign before completing your admission.
In most cases you will not be allowed on the tour if you:
1) Are pregnant or do not meet the height or weight requirements for the tour
2) Are unruly or otherwise disrupt the enjoyment of the other participants
3) Show signs of intoxication
4) Show signs of infectious disease
Please note that these terms vary, any questions feel free to contact us and we can provide you with the information directly from the tour operator.
12. CHARGEBACK POLICY
In the situation that you have a complaint about any service we provide, please be sure to contact us first. Customer satisfaction is the most important to us, and we do our best to be proud of our products and services that we sell. If you aren't completely satisfied with the service we've provided you we will make every attempt to make it so you are. Whatever the reason may be that you are unhappy, please do not file a chargeback with your credit card before you have given us the opportunity to work it out with you. Fraudulent chargebacks (chargebacks filed for services you did receive or issues that are listed in the terms and conditions herein) will be pursued through a collection agency and will be assessed a $25.00 fraudulent chargeback fee and a $20.00 collection fee (charged by the credit card company, not us). Thank you in advance for helping us avoid those inconveniences which would only result in a yet further unsatisfied customer.
13. FUN POLICY
Our attitude at Amigo Tours is that "It's all about having fun!" We don't forget so either should you!
