Expedition San Blas
San Blas is a small fishing village of about 12,000 people on the Pacific Coast of México between Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan. The extensive ecosystem and impressive history of San Blas makes it an amazing place to visit. Famous for its colorful landscape, San Blas is the perfect choice if you want to indulge in the wonders of the jungles that we have on the Nayarita Coast.
We will drive you through the Nayarit State "Rincon de Guayabitos"; where we will stop to have breakfast and enjoy the fantastic panoramic views. We will then continue up to "Las Varas" heading towards "San Blas" through the coast line (approx. 100 km). We will pass by farming and fishing villages with their exuberant vegetation. Accurate information about the surroundings will be provided along with brief stops to take plenty of colorful pictures.
Once in "San Blas" we will take an awesome boat trip on the river "La Tovara" which has plenty majestic natural caves. You will see amazing birds, visit the "Crocodile Reserve" in "El Manantial" of "La Calamota" and learn a lot about the native creatures
As we get back onshore, we will visit downtown San Blas. You can enjoy the sights of the rustic town as we make our way to the "Fuerte de San Basilio" ruins.
Last we will go to a restaurant in the bay of Matanchen to enjoy lunch. You can take advantage of having the sea nearby with a jump in the water, walk on the beach or just relaxing in the sunshine before heading back to Puerto Vallarta.
