Rhino Tour Botanical Garden
We begin this tour with a 40 minute drive along the coast, departing from Unique ATV Tours office and ending at the orchid-lined expanses of the Vallarta Botanical Gardens. This is the beautiful setting where we'll begin our jungle Rhino expedition through the rain forest around the gardens.
Behind the wheel of our fully automatic, customized Rhino you'll experience four wheel drive, a stereo system, safety belts, and the ease of driving with gas and brake foot pedals. Our Rhino is great for families and friends, it requires no body weight to be operated and it holds one driver and up to 3 passengers, making enjoying your tour together, that much more possible.
Now that we got your engines running, we lead you to the small village of Las Juntas y Veranos where we observe locals living the way of the ranchers, cattle & livestock in their natural environment, splash through sparkling rivers, & take the best tequila tour in all of Vallarta. You get to see how the locals live on a day to day basis and to get a glimpse of the real Mexico. Let's take a break to see the most respected & renowned tequila factory in all of Puerto Vallarta, owned and operated by a local named Don Chendo and his family. The tequila is authentically made and bottled right here, before given to us to sample! The bi-lingual tequila guide gives a detailed explanation about the entire tequila process, from the agave to the shelves of the stores where we buy it. And of course we must taste it to believe it! They offer many samples including roasted almond tequila liquor, chocolate coffee & vanilla liquor, white tequila, reposado tequila (5-11 months in barrel), & anejo tequila (up to 2 years in the barrel). This tequila is so pure and authentic that you won't even need any lime or salt!
It's over to Los Veranos, to visit an exotic petting zoo, full of local Vallarta wildlife including monkeys, iguanas, tropical birds, a huge python, and even creepy-crawlies like scorpions and tarantulas. Want a photo that will make your friends squeak? Then ask the trained animal expert to help you feed and hold these animals yourself, making for great photo opportunities! They are also known for their very reputable canopy zip line adventure, which we offer as a combo tour.
Just around the corner we find a treasure of Puerto Vallarta, Chico's Paradise. This is where a professional cliff diver performs a 3 jump show that will have your heart pounding. If you feel like getting wet, he will even guide you through the river for fun body surfing and waterfall slides.
We know that by know you've worked up quite an appetite! So, it's back to the Vallarta Botanical Gardens for a gourmet meal and drinks at the Hacienda de Oro bar looking over 87 acres of beautiful gardens and hiking trails.
