For all you thrill seekers, who are looking for an adrenaline rush. The Cuale Mountain Expedition is an experience you don't want to miss.
The excursion starts with a scenic ride on our transports. You will experience the difference between the city of Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding areas with its small villages and laid back lifestyle.
You will ride up the Cuale River up into the Sierra Madre mountains with its cool, crystal water. Nestled at the top of the mountain is Canopy River.

Here you will given instructions on how to ride the zip lines by experienced tour guides. You get your first shot of adrenalin as you zip line across a gorge, from one mountain side to the other. Also, you will captivated by the beautiful plants, and diverse wildlife.

Then you are challenged to cross over two bridges as you make your way across the side of the mountain. Next, you will arrive at the edge of a cliff where you will rappel 27 meters down the face of the cliff, or free fall 24 meters to the path below where you will zip line across, over, and into the Cuale River. As you hit the cool, crystal water it will refresh and cool your entire body.

Once refreshed you will jump out of the river and into an inner tube which will carry you downriver and let you enjoy the surrounding mountains. Once you get down river the last part of your journey will be riding a mule back up the mountain, and through the jungle. The views of the surrounding Sierra Madre mountains on this ride is breathtaking. The mules bring you back to Canopy River where you can have lunch and ice cold drinks at the beautiful Los Cuapinoles Restuarant. Or you can lay back in our hammocks or sun bath in our wicker chairs. You can also take advantage of a tequila tour that is available at Canopy River.
