ATV Riding Botanical Garden
The adventure begins by departing from our office in Old Town Vallarta in one of our company vans, and driving 35 minutes South of Puerto Vallarta to the Vallarta Botanical Gardens. Here you will start your ATV expedition through the rain forest around the Gardens.
Our expert bi-lingual guides explain how to use our FULLY AUTOMATIC 350cc Yamaha ATVs. As well as review some basic precautions. No experience? No worries! Our ATVs are very driver friendly, and do not require any shifting or clutching. The large size vehicles even have cushioned back rests making it comfortable and safe for passengers including small children.
After getting the full experience of the gardens we will then head out to the small Mexican village of Las Juntas y Veranos. This tour is a great way to get a glimpse of the real Mexico, and to see how the locals live on a day to day basis. You will get wet while splashing through the rivers; enjoy seeing wildlife such as donkeys, cows, chickens, turkeys, exotic birds, bulls, and more in their natural serene environment. After conquering back roads and trails we make our way to the most respected & renowned tequila factory in all of Puerto Vallarta. Don Crispin is a family-owned tequila factory which makes and bottles this authentic tequila. Most importantly we get to sample this tequila right there! The bi-lingual tequila guide gives an in-depth teaching on how the tequila is made starting from the planting of the blue agave plant all the way to the bottling process. They will also show you how to find a bottle of good tequila in the stores back home. The samples include roasted almond tequila liquor, chocolate coffee & vanilla liquor, white tequila, reposado tequila (5-11 months in barrel), & anejo tequila (up to 2 years in the barrel), so you are sure to find a taste that suites you best. You will be so surprised by the difference in quality, no salt or lime is needed!
Next we will continue through livestock-lined back roads to Los Veranos. Here we will visit the petting zoo which is full of local Vallarta wildlife including monkeys, iguanas, tropical birds, huge python, and even creepy-crawlies like scorpions and tarantulas. A trained animal expert will help you feed and hold these animals. You will get great photos to show all your family and friends back home! This is also the home of the famous canopy tour where you can zip line through the massive jungle.
Then it is off to the famed Chico's Paradise, where we'll watch cliff divers thrill us with acrobatics. You can then cool off by body surfing the river, and plunging over a waterfall slide to a pool 5 feet below. After this exciting afternoon it's back to the Botanical Gardens; where you can enjoy a delicious meal at the Plantation House Restaurant which features magnificent views of the valley below.
